Dance For Art Inc. 501(c)3 non-profit presents CDDS Holiday Show or Nutcracker every few years! 2021-2022 is a Holiday Show year!
Supporting DFA helps keep affordable performance opportunities for our young dancers, beautiful costumes, set designs, choreography, special guest performers and so much more!
Preschool, Primary, Level 1-4, and Company Dancers are invited to perform.
This is a wonderful performance opportunity for young dancers afforded by Dance For Art Inc. (DFA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  DFA funds the entire show: costumes, scenery, props, choreographers, rehearsals, everything! Artistic Director, Carolyn Dutra.

Regarding Venue + Covid Safety:
In accordance with the mask policy at 9 performance venues in RI, the CDDS Holiday Show at McVinney Auditorium will require all attendees (audience, dancers, staff), ages 2 and up, to wear masks for the entire performance (approximately 1 hour run time). Fully vaccinated Jr/Sr Co. routines may not be masked while performing onstage. We will not require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test for entry, just masks. In an effort to create the safest space possible for dancers and families, we encourage getting a covid test within 72 hours of the show.  Seats are not distanced. All CDDS staff, backstage helpers and ushers are vaccinated. 4 Parking Lots available at McVinney.
Proceeds from 2014 Holiday Show were directed to the Tomorrow Fund, a non-profit organization that provides financial and emotional support to families with children battling cancer. This is in honor of our dancing warrior, Amaya Devine.

$1000 from 2016 Holiday Show proceeds were directed to the medical account of Taila-Lynn Nakopinski, who is bravely battling brain cancer. Taila-Lynn...we  ❤ you and are so happy you were at the show!
